one pan pork and rice dinner

growing up my mom would always make pork chops for dinner. i hated them. after a good 10 or 12 years pork chop free years we were visiting my mom two weeks ago and she made them. they were super yummy. i don't know what the difference is but now i've had to add pork chops to the short list of meats that i cook with. so i found a new pork recipe that was by far one of the easiest recipes ever! i'd say cooking these pork chops was way easier than any chicken recipe i have. plus it was nice for a change. oh, and i made these to go with them. add some green beans and you have a meal that takes 20-25 minutes from start to finish!

one pan pork and rice dinner

1 tbs. oil
4 thin cut pork chops
1 can mushroom soup
1 soup can water
2 soup cans rice, uncooked
salt and pepper (i used season all to kick it up a tad)

heat oil in large nonstick skillet. season pork with salt and pepper and add to skillet. cook approx 4 minutes on each side until cooked through. remove from skillet. add soup and water to skillet. bring to boil. stir in rice. top with pork; cover and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
